As is known to all, ultraviolet (UV light) has been successfully extended to the commercial application thirty years ago. For the characteristics of the UV light curing,adhesive manufacturers developed series of UV products for bonding, sealing, printing, etc. All these equipments are widely used in communications, electronics, optics, printing, and many other fields. When irradiating (365nm wavelength and a certain light intensity), the adhesive will curing or hardening (polymerization) quickly. Compared with the traditional products, UV curing systems are more efficient, energy saving and environment-friendly.

The UV equipments for the adhesives have also been researched and developed during the past few years. The traditional production technology of high-pressure mercury lamp irradiation has been the mainstream for a long time. However, there are too many defects such as high cost of equipment, high maintenance costs, fast attenuation of UV light, high temperatures of irradiated components, bulky, expensive

supplies, mercury pollution, etc. The industry has been committed to improve, but it seems very difficult because of the original hardware deficiency.

However, the UV LED curing systems have revolutionized the UV curing industry. The advantages are obvious: constant light intensity, excellent temperature control, portable and environment-friendly, what's more, a lower procurement cost and almost no maintenance cost. All these advantages have promoted the use of UV LED products.

Service life

In tradition, the lamp life is only 800 ~ 3000 hours and then the equipment need to change lamp or repair. However, the lifeof our UV LED curing system can be 20000~30000 hours. It can be controlled irradiating only when needed, and the time is very accurate and short. When the operating time equals to the 1/5 preparing time, the service life of UV LED curing system will be 30-40 times the service life of lamp equipment. By this way we improve your production efficiency and save the energy.

No thermal radiation

Because of the use of pure high-power 365nm wavelength light-emitting diodes, there is no infra-red and other wavelengths of light to issue, and the temperature rise of irradiated area can be well-controlled below 5 °C. Traditionally, the temperature rise of irradiated area always been 60-90 °C, so that the products' location changed, and resulted in adverse products. There's no such defect in our products. The use of UV LED fit for lens bonding ,electronic products bonding and optical fiber bonding.

Environment-friendly and pollution-free

The traditional equipments use high pressure mercury lamp to irradiate. There is a large number of mercury in the light bulbs, and it is very troublesome to handle them. They may cause serious pollution to the environment. However, our UV LED curing system uses LED to irradiate; it is environment-friendly and pollution-free.

Ultra high illumination

Our UV LED curing systems use High-energy LED chips and Special optical systems, the UV light can achieve high-precision, high-intensity irradiation, and in fact the illumination can be achieved 8600 mW/cm2 . The latest optical technology and manufacturing process are used to achieve high-intensity output (more optimized than the mercury lamp irradiation and nearly 2 times the traditional LAMP irradiation light intensity). Because of this the UV adhesive will curing quickly, and shortens the production cycle, improve production efficiency significantly.

The illumination of single channel will reduce as the channel increase if irradiating by the traditional lamp way. However, the LED curing system won't reduce the illumination and all channels can be maintained at maximum.

Because of the high illumination, UV LED curing systems shortened the irradiation time and improve the production efficiency.

Energy saving

The irradiation efficiency is more than 10 times of the traditional lamp way.

Their differences are as follows:

LED: nearly none energy consumption during Standby time and you can control the irradiation time

LAMP: high-pressure mercury lamp continuous irradiating regardless of whether Effective irradiation and the most of the energy wasted.

The saving energy of the UV LED can even be calculated as follows:

270(w)*8(hour)*365(day)= 800(KWh)

The result means that each UV LED curing system can save about thousands Yuan, what's more,it indirectly reduces carbon dioxide emissions about1.4 tons each year and that is to say, a car exhaust in one year.
