The UV curing equipment of the high-performance electronic components-ST-LED UV

With the development of science and technology, integration of semiconductors, electronic components is getting higher and higher. The requirements of chip / package process of electronic components LED-UV light curing equipment are getting higher and higher.

Intensity of UV light-cured should be sufficient. Production of large quantities needs high production efficiency. Higher intensity of UV light-cured and faster conveyor will greatly enhance the capacity of a single device. ST-LED uses LED UV structure, which can be applied in many kinds of Product Process. Therefore, the capacity now is a few times or even ten times higher than before.

EMC electromagnetic radiation is lower. The higher the integration of chip/ electronic components is, the higher the sensitivity to the EMC is. Chip/ electronic components already can not afford the EMC interference emitted by UV lamp excited by some of the microwave. Production quality problems exist. ST-LED UV uses LED cold light source, no infrared light, no thermal radiation and no EMC interference.

Temperature is low in the curing box. Enhancement of light intensity needs to increase power of light bulbs. The majority of UV conveyors use, for example, 3KW-10KW range of UV lamp, to produce a relatively high intensity of UVA. But for high-performance electronic components, temperature requirements are very strict. 3KW-10KW of power consumption, most of which is transformed into heat. It causes the temperature to rise in the box, generally within 80-200 degree, and many plastic packages can not bear. GOOD irradiation of the LED head and power supply design, dozens of W, we can produce the UVA light 8000mw/cm2 (under cover in the parabolic reflector), and patented technology with automatic internal cooling system, effective control of temperature. Generally the temperature can be controlled at 5 degrees.

Ozone generation and security: a major security risk of conveyor UV curing machine is ozone generation as well as the UV protection. A number of large power UV conveyor belt, we may have to consider the safety of power supply box. Ultra-violet light, especially the short-wavelength UV, such as 250nm, ozone will be inspired. The greater the power of the lamp is, the more ozone it will produce. Usually, it will be equipped with exhaust port, to connect the factory exhaust system. ST-LED UV light uses LED cold light source with no ozone, environmentally friendly, very safe for the operator.

Small size, only the notebook size, has no effect on other equipment: high-performance components are generally smaller, but the requirements of production environment are very high, such as temperature, humidity and cleanliness. The light source and power are all integrated together, no additional devices conveyor belt. The whole device is digital, simple. Compact sizes, low power requirements, basically do not have an impact on other equipment. The usual UV conveyors require a significant power distribution cabinet, fan and conveyor systems. It needs factories to make a lot of adjustments to the hardware environment of the factories. At the same time, it causes much noise and no cleanliness.

ST-LED UV system is efficient. It has already been successfully applied in INTEL (centrino processor package), Honeywell and other well-known companies.
