UV light Curing of camera phone

Camera phone (camera module) by the CMOS components / plastic parts / components such as lenses, UV during the production process is widely used. In the selection of light curing equipment, according to different applications, UV curing box or UV conveyor curing equipment is chosen.

UV curing boxes applications:the size of mobile phone camera is generally small, and more sensitive to temperature. According to the size of mobile phone camera, ST-LED curing box can cure 50-300 pieces at a time. Usual UV glue curing needs 5-20 seconds to complete, with curing temperature below 5 degrees. It does not require external cooling system, compact shape refined, very suitable for workers’ production. And there are four kinds of different heads, to meet different applications. The following is a typical case:

#1 Visible light (420NM) enhanced IR Filter lamp
A company need to produce camera phone with an IR filter chip on it. IR filter chip can be adopted by the wavelength range 390-600nm, blocking most of the UVA (320-390nm). When switch to UV / visible light curing adhesive, the curing problems encountered. The main peak of most UV curing equipment is in the 365nm. If visible light intensity is achieved, it often needs to extend the curing time, during which UV will be converted to heat, making cell phone cameras overheating and affecting product performance. A number of light sources that do not match the Spectrum even need one hour of curing time.
In view of this application, our company put forward ST-LED and enhanced visible 420nm LED, mainly concentrated in the spectra of 395-445nm. UV light curing can be completed within 5-20 seconds. Power consumption can be less than 60W; the temperature does not exceed 5 degrees. This is the perfect solution to customers’ problems.

#2 from the traditional large-scale curing machine to a number of micro-machines:
Mass production process of the camera, the current approach of many factories is that a number of manual or automatic dispensing position share a set of large-scale UV curing equipment, usually 8-10KW. Noise, dust and the electric power consumption, and it looks very efficient way of curing. In fact, actual components are small; as a result, the utilization rate is very low. Nowadays, many products need a very high purity, high temperature requirements, environmental requirements, and this kind of production is clearly inappropriate. What’s more, a large number of invalid working processes are another way of waste.

At present, the way to improve is to use high-performance micro-curing machine (ST-LED), a direct position next to the workers. Four workers can share a machine.

Micro-conveyor belt curing applications: For a number of production lines they can use the low temperature, small-scale, environmental protection, low-power conveyors ST LED UV curing system, or use ST-LED conveyor system. In general 1000Mw -8600mW/cm2, conveyor belt speed can be achieved at 1200mm/min. To the cell phone camera, the curing efficiency is very high. At the same time, power consumption is less than 60W, and curing temperature does not exceed 5 degrees.
